Happy owner of a HTC Desire, and very new on this forum. I recently installed the Voice Search application for the french language. This application works perfectly well on the Google search bar included in Android: If I dictate "Bordeaux" for example, then the search starts perfectly on this french city. But, if I go to Google Maps, and I ask "Bordeaux", then the search is done on the word "Bulldog". It seems that the voice search of Maps (and therefore the Navigation software) includes only the English words while the same search works well in French elsewhere.
So my question is : have I to set a parameter in Maps to make the Voice Search work in french languange ? I found nothing about it.
