Let me take a second and say: 1.) first post, looking forward to many many more here on the Android Forums. and 2.) I apologize if this isn't in the right forum ... but since it's related to the recent cupcake update I figured I'd give it a shot.
Okay, so, I LOVE that YouTube is now linked to my actual YouTube account (and all of my personal videos) - and for the first day or so after I recieved the OTA official cupcake update, when I pulled up "my account" in the YouTube options all of my videos were showing up properly.
But now, a day or so later the only things that it will retrieve are my playlists and my subscriptions, and even in the case of my playlists, certain videos aren't "available" for one reason or another.
I tried clearing every possible cached or store bit of data on my phone, all the YouTube caches, all my uploader data, all my ties to my Google and YouTube accounts and re-entered them on my WiFi connection so as to avoid any bad ul/dl packets ... and I'm still having that problem.
SO ... anybody else with a YouTube account, can you take a look and see if it actually fetches your uploaded videos when you check your "my account" stats?
I SUSPECT that this is some problem that YouTube is having with the mess of Android users that have gotten the update in recent days flooding their servers with these queries ... but I'd love to see if anybody else can confirm that it's happening on their phone.
Thanks a bunch!
