So, I have a galaxy s5 and I just updated to Android 4.4.3 I believe and now I can't use emojis with my contacts, but my previous contacts still have emojis. How do I fix this?

Correction: I upgraded to Android 4.4.4 not 4.4.3

Try this:
Settings/Languages and input/Swiftkey Keyboard/settings/Layout/Enter key
make sure it is checked (always long press for emoji)

That solution only works, providing the OP has SwiftKey, free from the Play Store, installed.

Okay, so I do have SwiftKey which is good lol, but I tried it and when I went to edit the contact I pressed a random emoji and it worked but then I deleted it and tried to use the one that I want and now it won't let me again.
