Help Problems after having Galaxy Note 4 Unlocked :(

Hey guys,

I am in desperate need of help. I am not totally tech illiterate, but I am nowhere near the level you guys are so I figured this would be the place to come :)

Basically what is happening is that my carrier was Verizon and I wanted to switch to AT&T so I went to AT&T and they put a Sim card in my phone and I could text and call, but no Internet access. They referred me to a little shop next door to have my device unlocked. They unlocked it through my previous carrier(Verizon) and I take it home. It was working wonderfully at first then about every 5 to 10 minutes it would totally drop signal and take 2 to 5 minutes to restore. I took it back to the shop that unlocked it and they said I would have to go back to AT&T. While I was there I made sure to ask if I restored my phone if it would remain unlocked and uneffected. They urged me to restore it insisting this may resolve the issue. Then I went to AT&T who switched out the SIM for me and said the same exact thing (restore your phone) under both stores guidance I went home and restored my phone. Now I am back to where I was the first time I walked into the AT&T store. I can make phone calls and send text messages, but I can not access the internet. I never could send pictures after the unlock even after the SIM switch. My phone is not flashed or rooted if this helps. Also, I can't seem to access the settings they showed me regarding the unlock. There were specific settings they showed me that my phone had to be on after the unlock, but now that I have restored my device it will not let me change these settings (mobile network type should be set to global I think, but now it is set to EDGE etc- I may be retardedly looking at the wrong set of settings) Is there anything I can try before having to take a 45 minute trip back to the shop that unlocked it? This would be a major pain in the ass because I would have to ask the holder of the account to go with me who is very busy these days. If there is anything I can try please let me know. Also, after factory restoring my phone I can not update the software even when connected to WIFI. It says there is no network connection even though I can get on my browser and surf the Web and do other normal stuff when connected to WIFI. I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say :)

I really appreciate you guys responses ^.^ you guys rock!! Thank you so so much in advanced!!

Could I try to call the place that unlocked it for the code they used and try to unlock it myself so I don't have to go back out there? This may be a stupid question :/ I haven't had much experience with unlocking devices before. I'm a rooting/flashing/home brewing/etc type gal myself ;) thanks again guys!!

I found out exactly what settings have been changed since I restored my phone. Under "More Networks>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names" they had entered settings under "AT&T" and all I can see is the disabled Verizon settings. It's like when I restored my phone it deleted these settings that both stores said wouldn't be deleted or altered in any way. If I knew which settings I was supposed to put under each section(Name, APN, Proxy, Port, Username, Password, Server, MMSC, Multimedia Message Proxy, Multimedia Message Port, MCC, MNC, Authentication Type, APN Type, APN Protocol, APN Roaming Protocol, Turn APN ON/OFF, Bearer, Mobile Virtual Network Operator Type, Virtual Network Operator Value) exactly like they did before then would this fix the issue? Or does it go beyond configurating these settings precisely as they had configured them before? Please help :( I am about to go home where I currently have no WIFI or other Internet access now that my phone is restored D: so I'd like to try to get this fixed tonight if at all possible. Thanks again guys ^.^
