Problems after updating to Marshmallow

Thought I'd make another thread as I keep finding new problems after updating to Marshmallow.

So far I have come across:

  • Phone is set to not rotate the screen, but still does when using the camera which also rotates the App Manager screen. (not very fun..)
  • Music player was removed for some reason..
  • Notification vibrations all the same now. Used to be different pattern vibrations depending on the App. Now all of them have the same 2 short vibrations pattern as the FaceBook messenger which is very annoying when using the phone in vibration mode at work, especially when you used to prioritise if you should check the phone or not based on the vibration pattern… (made a post about this right after updating as it was the first thing I noticed)
  • Might just be a coincidence, but my phone had severe crash problems right after upgrading to 6.0.1. Hasn’t happened in a while now, but it was crashing left and right at least 5 to 10 times a day several days in a row :|

My Note 4 did not have any bad issues that I noticed after MM was installed.

well, it did, but they are operational changes with MM....
ie, Call Recorder don't work now on my S5 and I have to have that... it has worked for years until MM was installed. It has the required permissions, but it still does not work.

I noticed the minor changes in the Notification Defaults, but that is nothing new, it happens with Every OS that has been installed. All you need do, is edit the way you want each caller to be handled, or set the Default for the caller, or the SMS app.

I use Textra and noticed that all of the settings on it defaulted back to stock with MM.... irked me, yes, but I just set them back like it was before.. and all is well.
