Problems flashing custom roms

Hi all

Ive just delved into the world of rooting etc. And after several days of no success I finally got both my 32B magics rooted. I then put the Qtek Hero rom on one of them. Great success.....for a while. The phone decided to reboot and then wouldnt get past the splash screen. Tried rooting again with no problem (using the gold card method actually as both my phones has perfected spls). But now I dont seem to be able to flash any roms other than the Amons recovery rom. Every one gives me the same issue where the phone stops at the splash screen.

Ive tried the method on theunlockr.com as well as the cyanogen wiki.

Please help, its so frustrating as I had one working earlier

finally got it sorted. I was using the wrong method to flash for my phone. I tried using an "obsolete" method and it worked a treat. Got all sorts of lovliness running on both phones now. Woo hoo

there are a few more manual steps than the updated method but this one works for me and hopefully it will for others too who are having the same problem as me
