I am trying to post my first app on Google. Due to delays in getting files they would accept, the process was interrupted several times, and the initial APK file has been superseded by a newer one, with a different name. I want to delete the old one, and install the new one. Apparently I cannot delete the old file. Even worse, apparently no one can. When I try to post the new file, it says I already have that file there (not quite sure how it got there, as I don't think I sent the new file, but then the error message is unclear as to which file is already there - maybe it just looks at the file extension.) The Help Desk then suggests I use the UPDATE button, of which there isn't one. Any suggestions, before I go somewhere else to post my app ? I am on a time limit as other documentation refers to the new name, and I have to publish that very soon.
