So this is a weird one. I searched the forums but couldn't quite find anything that described my problem. Here's the setup:
My car has a single aux (3.5mm stereo jack) input, but I have two devices I want to plug in: an MP3 player and my razr maxx. I bought a stereo splitter, and plugged that into the aux port of my car, and connected each device to one of the two inputs. Now...
* If the phone is trying to play and the MP3 player is trying to play, the MP3 player works over the car speakers and the phone uses its own speakers.
* If I turn off the MP3 player or unplug it, the phone begins using the car's speakers.
* If I then turn the MP3 player back on, the phone switched back to its own speakers.
Anyone know some way around this?
Thanks!
