Problems sending texts to certain contacts

I have a Samsung galaxy ace. I don't seem to be able to send a SMS to a certain contact. I can ring them and they can send me a text but I can't reply. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
 
I have never heard about this issue before, the only thing I could think off is you do not not have 10 digits saved in there number, the area code needs to be added to send a Text, also make sure those users are not blocked in your text messaging app, I will refer you to your device forum for proper support see below
