Help Problems wifi scan on JD1 and JCE

mdkboom

Lurker
The problem I'm facing is that initially I can connect to my wireless router, but after the wifi enters the sleep mode, the wifi automatic scan doesn't work anymore.. In most of the times just turning wifi off and on again should solve the problem but eventually the phone just freezes and I have to take the battery off to restart it..

JD1 was my first 2.1 firmware and when that happened I decided to go to a different firmware. The thing is that after half a week with JCE working properly, today this damn bug started to happen again..

I bet this problem is very common and googling it I couldn't find an answer.. Can anyone help me on this issue? Please don't say that I have to flash all over again and loose all my settings..

Thanks in advance!

Are you using a 3rd party home launcher like home++ ?? I had the very same problem when i was using the stock samsung pantheon launcher or home++ . Then i uninstalled home++ and switched over to Helix Launcher and the wifi works great ever since. No more sleep mode-recovery issues... :)
