Problems with 2.2 Update for HTC Desire

I downloaded Froyo for my HTC Desire (unlocked) & it didn't install correctly & now nothing will work on it. No phone signal, WiFi, nothing. When I turn it on, some features will work & some won't, & after around 10 minutes it automatically will reset itself.

It says I have 2.2 installed in the Software Information, & I do see some new things, so I guess it's partly installed. The main problem is that I can't do a factory reset on the phone, so I have no idea how else to reboot & re-install 2.2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was it an OTA update or did you manually downloaded and installed it via the sdcard? if so did you download the correct one?

I'm having the same problem, i'm stuck with an old radio from 2.1update1. How can I fix this without going down the old clockworkmod route, because that messes up the 2.2 install?
