Problems with Handscent

I only just got custom background working on the latest update but it seems only certain photos can be used. I have only 2 photos that work, every other picture doesn't. All photos are .jpg. but the 2 that work are only 80kb while any that don't work are closer to 500kb. Any idea what's going on here? Moto Milestone.

Sounds like a resolution/size issue. Have you compared the dimensions of the smaller images to the larger ones? Have you tried resizing one of the larger ones to see if you can then use it?

Yeah it seems like it just doesn't like hi-res photos. I'm a little unsure how to convert them, is there software on the market?

i have come across a couple of free picture editing apps that support cropping pictures or saving them at a lower resolution. i haven't used them much and i don't know whether either of them will do the job for you, but you can try searching the market for Photoshop.com Mobile or PicSay. good luck!
