When I recently bought my Samsung Xcover phone GT-S5690 with android v2.3.6 I faced a problem with my music's ID3 tags. My genres are totally messed up, I spent half a day managing every single song with correct tag with my computer and when I opened winamp app half of the songs had still had Unknown genre, some of them had genre (137) and some (144). I have tried several applications found on google play trying to fix those tags or to edit them again in mobile, but none of them was working (all of them showed correct genre, but in winamp nothing hasn't changed).
Is there any way I can edit my Tags and have them properly recognized by the phone, as I think problem is in android software because maybe it can't read certain information (or codecs)?
