Help Problems with Rooted Tab

Alright, sorry in advance, I realize there are millions of threads with this or a similar subject, but I'm out of patience. I've been working on fixing this for nearly 6 hours and it's now 6am so I apologize if this sounds short or is misplaced.

I rooted my tablet in the pursuit of using my Sixaxis controller. I followed this guide:

[GUIDE] How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 [Video Walkthrough] - xda-developers

To a tee. My issues are now that although Superuser is installed and all root checker apps inform me "Terminal Rooted", they also inform me BusyBox is not. Upon trying to install busybox, they crash saying they can't get root access. In the SU app, nothing ever shows. It's blank.

I've reflashed with CWM the same root zip to make sure nothing got corrupted, but I am simply at a loss here.

Please help in anyway you can, as soon as you can. Please.

Unroot? Have to look that one up. It's really important I don't lose my data, and I can't use TB without root, so I'll look into this. Thank you for your help. I'll post back with results for anyone else with this issue.

EDIT: Thank you very very much. My process didn't include unrooting because... I couldn't find a legitimate way to and thought if I bricked it I'd just wipe it anyway, and it's finally asking if I can grant root access. Jeez. Thank you for waking me from this nightmare.
