Got the phone 2 days ago, and already lost entire contacts list that was transfered from the old phone. in BestBuy I was told that I can upgrade from 1.6 to the latest OS. Should have done research on my own before buying this piece of crap. Those morons in Best Buy don't know shit, I don't work there and probably know more then any of them. (5 People tried to convince me that the phone has a front facing camera, when I was buying it I decided to make fun at them, and asked them to turn it on; they spent about 5-10 minutes, and then said they were sorry, they were wrong, that's the kind of morons work at Best Buy.)
I guess I got exactly what I paid for (currently this piece of crap is free with 2 year contract)
The main issues I am having is that pandora, last.fm and many other applications stop working after about 35 minutes of non-stop work, and once it happens other applications can't access internet, so the only way to resolve it is to turn off the phone, and then turn it on again.
The other huge problem is Google syncing: I can't log in to my YouTube account because email asocciated with this account is @yahoo.com, so it says I need to enter a gmail account. I entered Gmail account for the phone in settings (not YouTube), and it somehow used this account to login to YouTube (GMail account that is not even associated with any youtube account, it's a new account I just created on gmail, and even checked on pc, if I can log in to YouTube, it says account does not exist), so now that YouTube app is associated with this account - YouTube does not work: Search does not work, I click on video categories - nothing happens keeps saying loading and never loads, nothing works, only featured videos on the start screen.
This phone is pretty much unusable. I did not find a way to logout of YouTube or delete/edit google account on the phone without restoring phone to the original settings and loosing all the apps...
What happens if I need to access multiple YouTube Accounts how am I supposed to do that? What if my login name on youtube is me@yahoo.com and not me@gmail.com? There has got to be a way to do it, I spent over a hour looking for it.
Please tell me if such option exists.
I think I am going have to return it to Best Buy and get another phone, they said I have 30 days to do it.
Is it possible that the upcoming OS update will fix this issues, especially the YouTube?
