Help Problems with USB Connection -- Please Help

I am trying to install PdaNet. However, when I plug my G1 into the USB (while USB debugging in enabled), I receive three short beeps from my computer and it is not connected.

When I disable USB debugging, it connects.

Please help.

I don't know what you mean about beeps ??? but if you're using a USB hub or a 'front' USB port, you might be having issues from that. Try switching to a different USB port.

Normally when I plug in my G1 (when USB debugging is not checked), my computer makes one steady beep... indicating I have plugged in a USB device. With USB debugging checked, my computer makes three shorter beeps.
