Setting Profiles, Timeriffic, Locale etc., etc.

Searching was already done, and, to let you know, NONE of those three programs (along with the 5 others besides those that I tried) do anything close to what we're after...

Maybe you'd see that those apps dont do what we're looking for. In the description for 'Setting Profiles' it seems like it would, but it (just like all the others ive found) still have it grouped together just like the settings for android has it:

'Alerts Volume'
when you change the alerts volume, it changes it for ANY AND ALL alerts on the entire phone, which just plain old makes no sense... The only exclusion to this, is the alarm clock.
Theres an option in the settings for 'Alarm' in the clock that says

ALARM IN SILENT MODE
play alarm even when the phone is in silent mode
Would it be so hard to put this very same option in the calendar settings(or others) as well?

Ok, im coming from a BB, so im used to the way that was set up...
Heres a few questions...
Is there a way to create/add more sound profiles besides just 'Normal' 'vibrate' and 'silent'?
I input my work schedule into my calendar and use the reminder feature as my alarm clock. That way its just already set when I input my schedule and I dont have to remember to change an alarm every day.
I also like to have my ringer and alerts silent while im sleeping (for obvious reasons). But when I set the profile to silent, it also silences my calendar reminder, which...is no good.
Is there somthing stupidly simple im missing?
