Is it possible to download an app from a phone re-right it then to upload it to the phone E.G. I have a diary/schedule on I want to be able to put the dates in as (repeating)first Monday each month as well as the date only is it possible I understand its open source ?

If it is open source, you better get the source from the website of the developer of the app..

If not, you might search this forum about decompiling. There has been a thread about this in the recent two weeks.
