prolems connecting 3g

[Android Question]

I have a "Unlocked Dual sim GSM 3G GPS Touchscreen 6" ANDROID 4.1 SMART MOBILE PHONE GR"

I am trying to connect to my 3g data service but despite many visits to the vodafone shop no luck, Can anyone help? The 3G works when I switch the sim to another phone so it is something within the phone I need to configure.

System settings
More settings
Mobile network
The network mode should be set to auto
The apn settings need to be correct for your vodafone service
Data must be on!

If that doesn't work there may be a problem with the radio in the phone. Does the phone provide 3g from both sim slots? Some only have one 3g enabled sim slot.
