So.... Now that we are all enjoying our frozen yogurt, is it too soon to start bashing Sprint and Samsung for some Gingerbread? Perhaps it would be polite to wait until April. :D

To be honest I think we should be happy that we even got this update... with all the new phones coming out I doubt they would have time to deal with our 3g soon to be low range phone anymore =(. But that wont' stop us from complaining!!! =P

Time to start rumors.

*** Sarcasm Alert ***

I spoke to a Sprint customer service rep and he told me that 2.3 for the Transform is in the works and should be released the day after hell freezes over. Among the fixes promised are free wifi tethering (I still don't know what that is), a $50 per month reduction on your bill, triple battery life, and 3d live wallpaper. It will be a free OTA upgrade only for rooted customers or you can stop by your local unicorn ranch and have it installed by the tooth fairy.

Have a great day everyone!

Well to be fair, most people were upset b/c Sprint and Samsung promised an update by year's end, and then postponed w/o giving reasons why.

I don't think we'll ever see gingerbread, but it won't really upset me b/c they never promised it to me. I would have been livid, however, if we never got froyo as that was one of the biggest reasons I got this phone.
