Help Properties app: Click "Add account" causes crash

Hello Supporters.

I recently added some CalDAV accounts and everything worked fine. Later I reconfigured my principals and groups on my DAViCal server so that I needed to reconnect the CalDAV accountsettings on my device.
Therefor I removed these accounts from the device and since when I then tried to reconfigure/reconnect them on my device the properties app didnt even let me choose the account type. Every time I click on "Add account" the properties app crashes with (german) "Einstellungen angehalten" plus the option to restart the app "App neu starten".

Please don't tell me I should use the search... I tried and all I found was hundreds of issues claiming the "Google app" to crash, but none that was related to the "Add account" option in general.

What did I allready try on my own?
- uninstalling the CalDAV and CardDAV apps
- cleaning all caches
- cleaning all appdatas
- cleaning all temporary data ("Zwischengeseicherte Dateien") - which seem to be different data to the cache, as it were another 1.7GB to delete after cache was cleaned
- restart device
- and all kind of combinations

My Device: SAMSAUNG S7 Edge
System version: Android 7.0 (security patch level December 2017)

There is more:
1. The same happened to my other device (S5 Neo) on (i guess... my wife uses this and I don't have access to it right now) Android 5 oder 6.
2. After reinstalling (I just didnt try it this way earlier...) the CalDAV and CardDAV apps, I was allowed to reconfigure my accounts/connections to my DAViCal server by starting these apps directly. So it actually only seems to be a problem caused in the properties app...

PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY PHONES =)
Sincerely Ramon
