Proximity Sensor in APK

I have a simple task triggered by the Proximity Sensor ...

Profile: tlaProx
State: Proximity Sensor
Enter: tlaProxEnter
A1: System Lock

It works with no problem from inside Tasker.

If this profile is exported as an app and executed from that app it is never triggered.

Is this a known (and apparently undocumented) problem?

Answer ...
The APK must be activated as a Device Administrator because of the System Lock.

For this simple case ...
The Profile must be On when the APK is created.
The APK must be activated as a Device Administrator before the APK is manually invoked.
The APK must be manually invoked at least once.
