Help Proximity sensor

Is there any way to get the proximity sensor on the Galaxy to trigger call answering? Would be so much more useful than fumbling about for a button

Also is there a way to re awaken the screen by touching it, rather than pressing the power button on the side?

Don't know about the proximity sensor, good idea for an app though.
You can wake the phone with the action button (middle one) though.
Edit:-
This app is for turning the screen off but can also be used for turning on (cover and hold)

What about those like me who ALWAYS pocket their phones? Nice idea but dont think it would be convenient for everyone.

Thats where my plan falls apart:o However, I would still like to be able to re awaken the screen by touching it rather than finding a button, particularly in the dark when I just want to know what the time is. And on that subject is there any way to display the time even when the rest of the screen is off ( a bit like my old SE 850 did) otherwise I might have to buy a watch:eek:

To wake up the screen or look at the time, I usually hit the home button which does the job for me. As for the time being shown all the time even when the screen is off, I don't know if there's an app for that but even if there was, I would be concerned with screen burn-in issues unless the time constantly moves around.

Indeed on the 850 the time constantly moved around the otherwise dark screen. Very useful as you could just glance at the phone to tell the time without having to press anything. However given the huge advances of the Galaxy S over the SE I shan't be too upset:)

I searched a bit in the market for an app that might be able to do this bit haven't found anything.
