PS3 Controller for Emulators

Ok haven't been able to find an answer to this. But can my DUALSHOCK 3 be used to play games on my Captivate. Games emulated via apps like NESOID and PSX.

They have an app that allows one to use a Wii remote so I'm sure that a PS3 controller app will be out sometime soon.
