Since there are numerous differences in the firmware between the Data Done Right devices and the other carriers devices, we are requesting that you make a note of it in your thread title. Stating which carrier you have is a necessary item to be included into your thread title.
Code:
[Sprint]xxxyour_titlexxx
[Boost] "
[Virgin] "
[DDR] "
And any others

The differences in the devices firmware can and/or will cause possible bricks if flashed. This will become more widespread amongst other devices (especially the Data Done Right devices) as time goes on. This is being shown as prevalent, due to the influx of rooting and system update issues being posted in our subforum.

If we can get everyone on board with this minimal and much needed addition to the thread title we should be able to alleviate repeated postings, as well as community members from running into firmware confusions that are leading to bricked devices and loss of data connection.

Some (useful) posting tips
  • Scan the forum for similar issues
  • Read the whole thread that deals with similar issues
  • Post a reply if applicable
  • If you create a thread, be concise and include
    • The carrier you have (append your title)
    • The ROM you have
    • Stock or TWRP recovery
    • What your issue is
    • What steps you have done
    • Be courteous in replying in comments :)
    • Have patience, it takes time for help ;)
Please note that if you have anything besides a STOCK rom, flashing a official system update will cause system wide corruptions and possible bricking of the device.
