So my pc died today after an almost total upgrade 9 months ago. I suspect that it was the PSU, after all I can't get it to power on by grounding the power on pin. I think what did it was I have a GTX 260 (requiring 36W on the 12V rail) my PSU only has (had) 30W on 12V rail so I guess I did pretty well to get 9 months out of it.
Thing is it still seems to be working partly, my USB powered speakers and webcam are still lit up I just can't get the thing to power on. Is this normal? Any thoughts on a cheap fix rather than going out and buying a new PSU tomorrow. I think when I get a new one I'm probably going to avoid skimping on price this time and make sure it meets all my requirements.
Any help would be appreciated.
