I didn't have the pulse notification light working on my Pixel, even though it was all enabled. I got in touch with the Live Chat support folks (very impressed with that by the way!), who suggested restarting phone into Safe Mode; this disables all 3rd party apps, in case one of them was interfering with the notification.
The light immediately started working, and continued working after I rebooted back into regular mode, so no idea what the problem was there.
Although having said that, Inbox ix still not notifying via light, so I'm currently experimenting with that as it seems to be an Inbox-specific app issue so far.
Anyone else got the light working with Inbox app?
