I have always wondered this but have not yet tried it.

If I purchased and app from the market and then uninstall it, then later on I want to reinstall the app. Will I have to pay for the app again or will it realize I have already purchased it?

If you log in with the same Google account with which you purchased the app, you will have the opportunity to re-download the app without paying again.
