Push Gmail without the Gmail app?

I use the Gmail app for my business email. My email is pushed, and all is well. I have a personal Gmail account that I set up with the stock HTC email software. It just polls at whatever time frame I tell it. I don't like that. I want it to push.

Any way to make it push?

I'm not interested in forwarding my personal email to business, by the way.

Don't think the stock Email client will do it. But K-9 Mail will. You need to set your Gmail account to enable IMAP and not POP3, then when you set the account up in K-9 Mail there is an option to enable IMAP push. Works perfectly for me.

Sweet, man. Thanks

Wow, that program is awesome. Thanks. Finally, full IMAP idle support. This puts blackberry email to absolute shame!
