Hi folks!

Puzzle Blox is a new game designed and developed by myself as a hobby during my spare time only. So I'm very happy to share it with you now. Don't be too harsh :D

Puzzle Blox is inspired by various classical games like Tetris and Bejeweled but brings in its own new ideas. This makes it an easy to learn but very addictive game to play. Clear more than 100 challenging levels by just tapping and twisting your phone!

A few days ago I have posted a preview beta of Puzzle Blox Arcade! on my web site. There're are some details I like to share with you here...

The new Puzzle Blox will come in two flavors:
  • Puzzle Blox - All the Puzzle Blox you already know including two new play modes Arcade and Challenge, new graphics, new sound effects, more levels and more fun. This upgrade will be available for FREE for all existing users of Puzzle Blox.
  • Puzzle Blox Arcade! - Completely FREE game including the brand new unlimited Arcade play mode. This is not a demo or trial version but a full game! And it includes over a dozen of demo levels of the original Puzzle Blox game. Puzzle Blox Arcade!

New game modes:

  • Arcade!: The screen will start filling with blox continuously. Remove groups of three or more adjacent blox by tapping the screen before it fills up completely. Try tilting and twisting your mobile to regroup the blox to achieve even bigger combos! Ideal for casual gaming in the tram or while waiting for your lunch.
  • Puzzle: Classic Puzzle Blox with 100 tricky levels to solve in 4 difficulties. This is Puzzle Blox at its best!
  • Challenge: Puzzle mode is not challenging enough? Then try playing against the clock, solve levels with only a minimum of moves, achieve big combos or beat the high scores in this brand new game mode.

New graphics and two completely new themes:

  • Aztec takes you to the legendary treasures of Middle and South America.
  • Retro was designed in the spirit of golden video games era in the 80th and turns your mobile into a classical handheld gaming device!

I'm surprised only one person has commented in this thread. Can't blame me, because I'm new here.

Anyhow, cool looking game, I'll go download it.

Out of curiosity, how hard is it to develop something like this on Android? Do you work as a programmer, and did this as a side thing for fun, or is programming itself just a hobby for you?

Also, your post from October seemed a little confusing to me. What exactly is the difference between Puzzle Blox and Puzzle Blox Arcade? Is the latter merely a part of the former?
