Q: Odd file icon (Go Lancher)

I noticed this a few weeks ago, but only just started looking into it. I have a folder icon on my Go Launcher homescreen that is different than the others. Instead of showing the first 4 apps -- 2x2 -- in the folder, it shows 9 -- 3x3. If I open the folder, there is "Recent" list at the top, showing recently accessed apps from that folder. Also, it scrolls vertically and smoothly. Non of my other folders have a "Recent list, and they scroll horizontal by page. I can not find any settings anywhere that allows me to change folders and their icons in this way. I've always wanted 3x3 folder icons. If anyone knows how to do that in Go Launcher, I'd like to know! Thanks! Screenshots (hopefully) attached.

Try opening the settings of the GoLauncher and search for an option Visual Settings and I am sure you will find the 3*3 settings over there !

Nope. No Visual Settings, in either Go Launcher prefs, or system settings. They did away with that category. I should have mentioned, I'm using v5.09. Also, it is only that one folder. If it were a setting, I'd expect all folders to be effected. I can't find any folder settings anywhere. I did find a screen grid setting, but nothing for the folder icon. I also found some folder apps in the Play Store that allow 3x3 icons.

Some more observations: 1) After exiting an app started from the folder, the view goes back to the open folder. Normally it goes to the home screen with all folders closed. 2) After opening the folder, if there is a delay loading file info, the busy icon is an orange rocket, following a circle of dots.

I searched but couldn't find an app with a rocket icon that can create folders.

Finally, the folder got stuck: On opening, it would scroll so only the last row shows at the top of the folder, and some of the visible icons didn't work. I ended up deleting the folder and replacing it with a standard folder.

I'll keep looking into it and let you know what I find.

Okay! Got it! It's a feature of Go Launcher. In the app drawer, there is a second screen where it puts games. From there, you can have it create a special folder. Supposedly, launching from that folder will "boost" it. I'm not sure if that means launching is sped up, or playing is sped up. Anyway, it's a 3x3 icon.
