QR. Reader does not work on Samsung galaxy A50

Hello,
I have the following problem with Samsung galaxy A50 have the toggle turn on for the QR reader in the phone but I find that the reader does not work at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, there are thousands (probably) of QR code reader apps out there, and finding a good one can be difficult.

I have recently had luck with this one...
