Quantum Computing

Bob Maxey

Android Expert
I am reading a rather interesting book about quantum computers and computing. "Ultimate Zero and One" by Colin P. Williams and Scott H. Clearwater.

From the book: "We thought we'd finish the book with perhaps the most unusual property of quantum computing so far discovered." This is the realization that a quantum computer can answer certain questions by virtue of the fact that it has the potential to answer such questions."

"It is not always necessary to actually run the computer to obtain the answer. The mere possibility that the quantum computer would give the correct answer if it were run is sufficient to deduce the answer."

The wiz-bangs call these "counterfactuals."

Hmmm . . . I also think this is how Apple decides to sue others.

Yeah quantum computing is awesome. We'll probably switch to quantum computing in 10 years but won't notice a thing. Because humans take everything for granted.. I imagine kids with quantum android.. Ohh it doesn't work this is bullshit..
