I'm having a samsung S duos ... but this query is not dependent on any particular mobile... but for all Samsung mobiles.
Does anyone know what port number does Samsung apps work on ?
For e.g. when I use Internet over Wifi + Proxy server in my mobile... I have to enable port 5228 for google play to work on wifi. Check this link (https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2651367?hl=en)
Similarly what port do I need to enable for samsung apps.
I'm stuck where it says "Samsung Account Update" and the update is going on very slow on GPRS 2G connection... I want it to happen over wifi .... but not sure what is the port number.. Also, when I click on settings menu and then security / sim change alert in my mobile, I enter the password it says network error... whenever connected over wifi.. works fine over GPRS.. Does anyone know the port number please ?
Also Google Talk is not working over firewal.l ...
Is there any proxy server (like ccproxy) that would foward all ports ? or give me a log of what ports were requested.
