Question about 4g plans

Ok so i got my girlfriend an evo view tablet unlocked for xmas, and she loves it. She also has a netbook provided by sprint as a 3g netbook. Now she wants to switch the 4g/3g plan from her netbook to her tablet. Is this possible without paying anything different? And is the mobile hotspot included in the plan or is that a seperate payment?

I'm not exactly sure, but they usually do let you switch cell phones without any problems, so maybe. But i would just pick up a MobileHotspot and see if you can transfer the plan to that... Then she could run both the netbook and tablet (and any other wifi device) off the hotspot... I would think she'd get the most bang for the buck that way.

sorry man, I don't know... I've only transferred phone to phone.. there was no charge. Another, and probably cheaper idea: IF she has a Sprint smartphone.. cancel her mobile data plan all together... and activate the Mobile HotSpot feature already built into her phone... she could then gain wireless internet access via her phone on any wifi enabled device.. its 30 bucks per month.. no contract or activation fee needed for this add-on either... probably the least expensive route and would give the most freedom.

I know people have switched out 3G/4G sticks before with not problem so I don't think there would be a problem with that.

Call Sprint, they should be able to help you.

I'm really liking the "hotspot" idea so you could connect any WiFi enabled device (netbook, Evo View) to the Internet.

Please let us know how this works out for you.
