Question about CPU management apps

I recently installed a CPU management app (CPU master) and I feel like it's made my phone more unstable. I'd like to just delete it but I've made some changes to CPU settings and want to make sure when I delete it that everything goes back to default settings. This program doesn't have any sort of "return to default settings" option that I can see. Will deleting the program set the CPU back to default or will it just leave it the last place I set it?

Does anyone know what the default min/max MHz for a Sprint Hero would be?

When you uninstall, it will remove the settings.

I can't comment on the app you've been using, but SetCPU works out the min and max for your phone and won't let you go above whatever it finds.

Bear in mind though, running at max constantly will eventually have a negative impact on the handsets CPU.
