Help question about customizing calendar

I know this might be the least of someone's problems, but it's really bugging me. I just had my phone re-flashed yesterday at the Sprint store and now all the various calendars (my calendar, contact birthdays, US holidays) are all different colors. This is messing with my brain!

If there is a way for me to customize this feature, PLEASE someone let me know.

I should say, I have tried doing it through google calendars. There is no option for me to do so, even though the help section tells me there should be.

Yes, you should be able to do it through Google Calendars...

I use PimilicalA, which is a powerful calendar app derived from an earlier product for PDAs called DateBk; which only compounds the problem-- I have multiple calendars, some of them controlled directly from PimlicalA and others driven directly by Gmail/GCalendar, and so many options, you almost need a PhD to figure it out.

But I do remember going into Google Calendar at one point to try fixing the color schema. If you go to 'My Calendar' or 'Other Calendars' you can select the basic color of the entries from there, I believe.

Remember, there are several tabs under the GCalendar Settings, and a couple of neat things in the Labs tab in particular you might look at.

Thank you for replying. I will try to figure it out. I had my savvy teenaged daughter look at it in google and even she couldn't figure out why the help section instructions didn't line up with what we were seeing on the screen.
