Hello, I recently switched from a Sanyo Zio to an Ascend II.
I adore my phone and have no problems with it except for one glaringly obvious (to me) problem.
It has FF on the camera, no autofocus. And as a photographer who sometimes relies on the camera phone in pinches, this drives me &*%^&*^&*%^&*%^&* nuts!
I have successfully rooted my phone without bricking it. And I want to know is there some sort of app or root app out there that will override the fixed focus feature and give it autofocus capabilities? If so, if the app costs money, this is one of the few times, I'm perfectly happy paying for it. or is the lack of autofocus a phone/hardware issue?
