Question about Lockscreen integration

I have just discovered Lockscreen Owner Info and wondered whether we can automate in using Tasker in some way.
I was thinking along the lines of putting up a new poem or quote ripped/scraped from online.

Just wondering if its possible i guess.

I don't think it's possible (or at least easily) to change that string from Tasker.
However, you could check out Minimalistic Text. You can create widgets and modify their content via Tasker.

I haven't tested that functionality, but a Tasker plugin called Secure Settings claims to be able to update the lockscreen "Owner Information" string - as long as you've got root access (thanks @WarriusZero for catching that!). Let us know if it works for you - could make for some cool stuff!

Well I have Secure Settings installed here, and I checked it quickly. After a second check, the setting is indeed listed, named "Lock Screen Owner Info".
However, and that's why I missed it the first time, you need root access to play with it... I don't, so I can't tell you more, I'm afraid.
