Question about replacing HTC Sense

Hello I currently have an HTC Incredible and I am thinking about replacing Sense UI with a custom theme such as IncrediPhone. I realise I can't use the sense ui widgets if I do replace sense. If I wanted to switch back to sense, would it be hard? Also what are the best apps for Customization?

Get an appcalled homeswitcher. Whatever home app you install, it has a list of it. Makes it easy to switch defaults.

Two other good home apps are Better Home and Launcher Pro

To customize icons get an app called Any Cut or Better Cut

Can you change back to HTC Sense (I'm on desire)

Also, is rooting the same as debranding - and does my phone HAVE to be rooted in order to get nice themes etc like the ones in the "show us your homescreens" thread?

I don't want to mess up my warranty with orange (Or orange care - not sure if this is included as being un claimable.

I really need to find a guide somewhere to explain everything related to theming ur brnad
