I am totally new to both tablets and the Android OS. I have heard about rooting, and I was wondering if anyone has rooted their TC 970. What exactly does rooting do to the tablet? Is it really worth doing (and voiding the warranty in the process)?
And by the way, rooting is totally reversible, so you don't really void your warranty. You can just do a factory reset, and it will be back to stock.
If you screw something up while rooting or because you rooted it, then yes, it would probably void the warranty. But I have not heard of that happening.
