Question about sharing a Google calendar

OK, here's the situation...

My wife and I both have Droids, obviously we both have different Google accounts attached to each one. She is really good about keeping up with our appointments and whatnot with the Google calendar that came on the phone. I was wondering if there was a way to share her calendar between both phones. Can I add her google account to my phone, and it still work on both? and if I do that, can I then add the Google calendar associated with that account to my phone, and have it be the only thing that syncs? Am I making any sense?

Here's how I did this on my Hero. Have your wife log in to Google > mail > Calendar. Go to the"my Calerdars" area, hit the arrow by her name and select "Share This Calendar", and enter your Google acct. info. Next log on to YOUR Google calendar and make sure both yours and hers are checked. Now on the phone you can choose which calendars you want to sync.

Correct me if I am wrong: My understanding is that as well, you can synch both; each will be on your phone in a different color, so that you know who's is who's. (Of course if you both ahve same thing on your calendars for an event, it will be there twice...in 2 different colors.)

And hopefully you can filter on your phone to see one, or the other, or both.

My wife and I both have droids and have done this. She keeps to g-mail accounts (personal and work), each with a calendar. All three are synced together and we each get a display on our phones and in google calendar showing the other's appointments overlaid on the calendar in different colors. You can assign your own colors and you can add things such as daily weather and the like. It's really quite handy, though if you have a busy schedule, I find that setting the view to agenda mode, makes for easier viewing of each other's scheduled activities.

That is all correct, at least on my Hero. In the Calendar app hit Menu > Calendars to choose which calendars are displayed on the phone. I have it set to display both mine and my wife's and events from our different calendars show up in different colors in Agenda or Day view.
