Root Question about Themes

This may be a dumb question, but do themes such as NexTheme drain the battery any more than normal?

I wonder the same thing. I actually just removed NexTheme because after I installed I could swear I noticed a significant change in battery life, even without LauncherPro. Maybe it was all in my head, but it sure as hell felt like it... it felt slower too...

It shouldn't, I'm pretty sure it just changes the color, transparency, etc. Just the visual settings.

Themes really only just replace graphic files on the phone - nothing that would change battery consumption on any level...
