question about upgrading

hey guys I have a question about upgrading my phone.
I'm wanting to upgrade my old alias 2 to a droid x and saw that on wirefly an upgrade to the droid x is free. However, I realized that it is only applicable to the primary line, which i sadly am not, and for an added line the price of the droid x jumps to 99 dollars.

Would it somehow be possible for me to order the phone for the primary line but activate it on mine? The user of the primary line (my sister) has no intentions of upgrading until the iphone 5 comes out and I was hoping that when she wants to upgrade she can just take my upgrade. Would that be possible?

Yes it is. You'll have to do it at the store if I remember right however. We've done it before.

You don't have to do it at the store, activate it to the line it was ordered on then switch it over.. It can all be done over the phone

Careful, wirefly has super strict terms and you get charged a ton if you remove the phone from the line you activated it on and put it on another line I believe, make sure you know fully what you are doing first. Overall it is probably not possible, you can trade upgrades, but you need to go through stores that don't charge you for switching the phone on to your line, that or you and your sis could just switch who is the primary line. Also if it is a family plan I believe the first 2 lines are primary lines, who is the 2nd line on this plan? Can you become that 2nd person or are the 2 primary lines both held by people who need to be primary for some reason?
