Question about using the internet on Android phone

It looks like I am going to be purchasing the HTC Aria (AT&T) August 1st, and i want to know if with AT&T do you use up your data while you are on the internet in a wifi spot:confused: (I have 200 mb of data per month). I'm sure it's a dumb question, but i'm coming from a "dumbphone" the Pantech Matrix. Thank you in advance and please help.:)

as i understand it it shouldnt use your data since your not useing a phones network to actualyl do anything, your useing the wifi's network.

so no you should not be using your data limit.

I would not reccommend the 200mb plan for an android phones, android phones are very data intensive, from background syncing of emails, gtalk, gmail, contacts, calender, etc, to advertisements in some apps.

Tapatalk. Samsung Moment. Yep.

What IOWA said. I'm not even remotely a power user and I've used over 670MB this month so far. Notice we're only halfway through the month.
