hi i wanted to ask about the uk version of the galaxy s. think its the i9000
i already own a galaxy s captivate (US version) and i love it. but it runs miui and cyanagen mod so its a bit different from standard.
i bought the galaxy ace but was disapointed to find that for recieving texts if i have my phone off then switch it on again and texts come through they have the time i actually recieve the text not the time the text was sent. personally i find it really inconvenient to not know this. on my captivate the same ocurs but if i longpress and select the text it will open up to msg details then display text sent: xxx text recieved: yyy
ok that i can deal with, the ace on the other hand offers no such thing.
of course i dont know if my captivate does this as a feature of samsung or a feature of any of the other varoious add ons.
so my question is, on the samsung galaxy s (UK version)
if i had it switched off say from 7am-10am and someone sent me a text at 8.45am. when i switch the phone on at 10am and the text comes through will it display the time the text was sent (8.45am) or the time i recieve it (10.01am) ?
