I tried porting over a customers North Carolina number last night. I am in Florida, from what i understand out of state numbers can't be ported. My question is, can a corporate location port out of state numbers?

I tried to port over a Texas number to Florida, and they told me the same thing.
No-go.

How do I qualify for WNP?
If the area code of your current phone number is in the MetroPCS coverage area, you will be able to transfer your number to MetroPCS.

I tried doing that too but you can't. Corporate will say the same. I heard years ago they could but I wouldn't know cus I've only been there for over 2 years.
