Question for Timeriffic users

Can you MANUALLY force Timeriffic to change which profile is being used, even if you are in the middle of a time period in which Timeriffic would normally be using a different profile?

Example: Say you have a "home" profile for home and a "work" profile for work. The "work" profile is set to be active from 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. On a random Tuesday, you go home early at 3:00PM. Can you manually switch from your "work" to "home" profile in Timeriffic, or will the app force you to stay in the "work" profile because it is still between 8 and 5, Monday to Friday?

Thanks!

I only have one profile, that maps my day/week for home and work. If my 8-5 part says wifi off, I can't force it to use the 6-11 wifi on part. You can create 2 profiles and enable one then disable that one and enable the other...... Depending on what things you need to change on your early out, it might just be easier to do what I do and just manually change the things and then when the next trigger time hits it is back to what you want. For example I have the wifi off until I get home at 5pm. If I'm at home at 3pm, I'll just go into settings and turn the wifi on. Timerific doesn't care what the settings are in the middle of the times, it only looks and makes changes when the timer tells it to or it is started. So if I turn the wifi on at 3, reboot the phone at 3:30, when timerific loads it knows it is the "work hours" phase and will turn it off again.

Kind of long winded, but I hope it made sense....

Yeah I understood and that was helpful. Thanks.

Seems like you are saying that if you do have two profiles, you can manually enable one.

My settings for work versus home will have too many changes to go in and manually change each of them every time I leave work early.

You can have multiple profiles, but only one can be active. I would suggest an "everyday" profile that has all your normal settings and a "playing hookey" profile for when you leave early. This has gotten me thinking. I'm going on a weeks vacation next month and I think I'll make a vacation profile. Thanks for getting me thinking!
