Root Question for users

I was going to make a app for my rom accessing the droid razrs hidden features in the android settings but i had a feeling i should make it just for the Razr Itself. Does anyone feel this for a good app for the Razr? have a root section for light weight tweaks nd a tabbed android settings. I was going to port a pager mod for the stock settings but it just wasnt porting over. this would be in replacement.

If the app would work for any ROM, then I think you should design it to be a standalone product.You'll get a wider audience that way, and by virtue of that, possibly more users for your ROM (assuming they like the app and want to see what else you've done).
