Question on Accounts and social networking

Hello,
I just got my Droid X yesterday, love it. Question, though. I want to link it with my Facebook account to be able to easily see notifications through the social networking widget, however I do not want my Facebook friends to all be imported into my contacts, I'd rather just have my phone contacts be the people who I manually add. Is this possible??

yea, in the facebook app settings, you can tell it to sync all, or none or just with existing contacts

I just figured out another way. Under contacts, push settings, then display group, then phone contacts.
